Semester Study Abroad
Why have a few weeks when you can go for a full semester? Semester study abroad programs take several different forms.
Direct UNC/MCB Partner Exchanges
UNC has exchange agreements with 23 international institutions across Europe and Asia. Many of our exchange schools offer affordable study abroad options for students from all UNC majors. These types of programs are an especially good fit for students who receive UNC merit awards or are eligible for employee tuition grants. The MCB direct Partners have many of their courses preapproved for transfer (see Course Equivalencies to the right)
Please contat VA.SCO@unco.edu with questions about whether this program would be a good fit for students using VA education benefits.
International Student Exchange Program/Direct Enrollment
UNC is a member of the International Student Exchange Program (ISEP). ISEP is a consortium of over 330 institutions in more than 50 countries. UNC students have the opportunity to participate in two types of ISEP programs: ISEP Exchange or ISEP-Direct.
- Students participating in ISEP Exchange will pay normal tuition, fees, room and board to UNC.
- Students participating in ISEP-Direct will pay all expenses to the foreign institution.
