Kevin Ahern

Mr. Kevin Ahern has been actively involved in with the University of Northern Colorado and the Monfort College of Business for three decades.  His dedication and generosity have contributed to the growth and success of university, college, students and faculty.

Mr. Ahern serves on the Board of Trustees for the University of Northern Colorado. He also served as an adjunct professor at the Monfort College of Business where he taught the SAFF course.  He served on the board of the UNC Foundation, Inc. and chaired the investment committee.  He chaired the MCB Dean’s Leadership Council and has been a judge for the MCB Entrepreneurial Challenge.

Mr. Ahern has over 30 years as an executive, entrepreneur, and operator in the financial services industry.   A Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Mr. Ahern received an MBA with an emphasis in Finance from the University of Connecticut in 1991 and a BS in Business Administration (Finance and Insurance) from the University of Northern Colorado in 1985.
