Apply for Professional Experience

The Professional Experience application is now housed within your UNC Handshake Account. Please watch the video below for detailed instructions on how to apply, before selecting the Professional Experience Packet link and logging into Handshake.

Common mistakes on applications:

1. The "Employer" section is regarding the company or business you are working with. 

2. The dates should reflect the length of your professional experience (this may not be the same as your length of employment). This is typically one semester in length. Do NOT list dates that occured prior to submitting your application.

3. The employer supervisor section is where you identify who your direct supervisor/mentor will be. This is the person who needs to approve your experience and submit evaluations of your performance.
