Dr. McManus earned a Ph.D. in Management and Organization from the George Washington University’s business school in Washington DC. She specializes in Organizational Behavior and Development and holds numerous professional certifications from respected organizations such as Development Dimensions International (DDI), Prosci, Inc., and the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL).  

Throughout her career, Dr. McManus has combined consulting with teaching at universities in the United States and the United Kingdom, including Strathclyde University in Glasgow, Scotland, and the Pennsylvania State University. She has served as a consultant with global firms such as Babcock Engineering, and international consulting firms such as McKinsey and Company. She has taught in higher education for almost three decades, including more than 10 years teaching remotely. 

Currently, Dr. McManus lives in Colorado. She is a dual citizen with the United Kingdom and spends time there when she can. She has two adult children and enjoys vacations and visits with her extended family.  She also loves being outdoors to enjoy Colorado’s beauty.
