Professional/Academic Experience
Lara is a driven and accomplished professional with a passion for business. She graduated
from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Business
Management. In 2021, Lara decided to further her education and attended the University
of Northern Colorado to obtain her Master's of Business Administration degree - graduating in
2022. Throughout her education, Lara has developed a strong foundation in business
fundamentals, including accounting, finance, marketing, and economics. She has also
gained valuable experience in leadership, teamwork, and communication. In her current
role as a Research Administrator at the University of Colorado, Lara is responsible
for managing the day-to-day operations and overseeing of grants and contracts. In
addition to her professional and educational accomplishments, Lara is also a devoted
mother and has one teenage son as well as one teenage chiweenie dog. In her spare
time, Lara loves to get out and enjoy all that Colorado has to offer, as well as bowling,
music, movies and maximizing her time with her friends and family.
