Professional/Academic Experience
My name is Taylor Hummel and I am a proud first generation, SHRM-CP certified, MBA
graduate with an emphasis in Human Resources. I graduated from UNC with my undergraduate
degree in 2019 before graduating again with my MBA in 2023. During the second year
of my MBA program, I was fortunate enough to work at MCB as an HR Specialist to kickstart
my HR career. I am now the HR Director for The Group Inc Real Estate here in Northern
Colorado and am proud to be the first HR professional hired on staff for the company.
The core competencies of my role include payroll & benefits administration, talent
acquisition & management, performance management, legal compliance & reporting, employee
relations, and strategy & policy development. I am grateful to be in a leadership
role where I get to build the HR department from the ground up with the help, support,
and encouragement from our amazing leadership team and staff! I enjoy strategizing
to solve various HR related issues, streamline workflow processes, enhance the employee
experience, and maintain a fun culture!
