Small Classes, Big Opportunities
The General Business emphasis is designed to prepare students for a broad range of entry-level positions in business organizations. This program is appropriate for students intending to manage a family-owned or small business as well as those wanting to work in a large corporation.
Our award-winning faculty includes top professors, experienced executives and practicing business professionals, all with the same goal in mind: preparing students for a successful future in the business world.
We have one of the most unique, student-focused business programs in the country, where undergraduate students participate in small classes, benefiting from working closely with faculty and fostering connections for future success.

"Being a student at MCB has made all the difference for me because the college excels in all areas of business instead of just one. The class sizes are small enough to get to know your professors and other students, which makes learning all the more impactful. My professors are always willing to work with me so that I fully understand the material, instead of just forcing me to memorize it. Becoming a General Business student at UNC was the best choice I ever made."
