Mommaerts & Leary are MBA students at the Monfort College of Business and Layzell is a Sports Administration Masters student in the School of Sport & Exercise Science. Creative Shock is a global business conference organized every year since 2011. Participants every year are gathered to solve real life business, PR and marketing problems for social enterprises. The trio was able to listen to various speakers discuss their businesses and give advice to young entrepreneurs. “It was very interesting to meet people from all over the world and discuss business and cultural differences,” Leary said. “I agree, business is pretty much a universal language, so it did not matter where everyone was from.” Mommaerts added.
