Seventeen semifinalists have been announced for the seventh annual Monfort College of Business Entrepreneurial Challenge at the University of Northern Colorado. The Entrepreneurial Challenge is an opportunity for aspiring entrepreneurs to obtain exposure and compete for $50,000 in prize money to help bring their innovative business ideas to fruition. The semi-finalists represent healthcare, education, sports and other industries. They presented their business concepts on January 21, 2016 at the UNC University Center.
Judges for the semifinals will be distinguished and established business leaders in Colorado. They include: Bruce Biggi, Chief Marketing Officer, Northern Colorado Economic Alliance; Charisse Bowen, Campus Director, Galvanize Fort Collins; Karol Jones, Chief Financial Officer, Colorado Lending Source; Milan Larson, Associate Professor of Management, Monfort College of Business; Mike O’Donnell, Executive Director, Colorado Lending Source and Richard Pickett, Executive Director, UNC BizHub.
