Career Readiness Requirements
As a student at the Monfort College of Business, there are two Career Readiness Requirements you need to be aware of. The first is the Career Development Series. This requires you to attend one approved Career Development event per year you attend MCB. This is required for ALL MCB students. If you want to learn more about this requirement, select “Career Development” below.
The second is the Professional Experience Requirement. This requires you to first complete three pre-requisite workshops then to complete EITHER an internship for credit OR an approved Professional Experience. It is recommended you complete the pre-requisites by the end of your sophomore year so that you can complete the experience during your junior or senior year. This is required for ALL MCB students EXCEPT international students and Software Engineering students. International students should reach out to the Professional Experience Coordinator to complete a waiver.
